Two accountants. No hold music.
You get Dylan or Henry, every time. Fixed fees for sole traders, landlords and small limited companies — plain English, and nobody charges you for asking a question.
Send us the mess.
A carrier bag, a shoebox, a camera roll of receipts. However bad you think yours is, we've had worse this week.
It stays tidy.
Books updated month by month instead of frantically in January. One short message, nothing for you to do.
You find out early.
Months before it's due, while there's still time to do something about it. Nothing left to surprise you with.
Nothing happens.
Filed weeks ago. No scramble, no panic, no 11pm on the 31st. That's the whole thing, really.

Income tax and Class 4 National Insurance for 2026/27. Doesn't include student loan, payments on account, or any other income — so treat it as a ballpark, not a bill.

Trafford HorganBefore you ask
The awkward questions.
What will it cost?
One fixed monthly fee, agreed before we start any work. What it is depends on what you actually need — a landlord with one flat and a limited company running payroll aren't the same job. Tell us your situation on a short call and you'll have a written quote the same day, with no obligation attached to it.
I'm behind. Like, genuinely behind.
Then you're in the majority. Late returns, missed years, a bag you've been avoiding since 2023 — we deal with this constantly and nobody here is going to make you feel stupid about it. Tell us how far back it goes and we'll tell you what it takes to get straight.
Will you charge me every time I ring?
No. Questions are in the fee, however many you have. An accountant you're nervous about phoning is worse than no accountant at all.
Do I have to change software?
No. If you're on Xero, QuickBooks or FreeAgent we'll work in it. If you're on a spreadsheet, or nothing at all, that's fine too — we'll only suggest a change if it genuinely saves you time.
Can you take over from my current accountant?
Yes, and it's more routine than people expect. We write to them, they pass over your records, and you stay out of the middle of it. Most switches are done inside a fortnight.
Does Making Tax Digital affect me?
If you're a sole trader or landlord, probably — and sooner than you think. It began on 6 April 2026 for qualifying income over £50,000, drops to £30,000 from April 2027 and £20,000 from April 2028. If that's you, there are quarterly submissions to make and software you'll need. We'll tell you exactly which phase catches you and get you set up before it does.
Fifteen minutes. No jargon.
Tell us where you're up to and we'll tell you what it'd cost. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
